What mouse?

After having used a Mighty Mouse since getting my MacBook Pro last year, it has now died a slow painful death. The scroll ball no longer works, and I took it apart in an attempt to fix it and accidentally on purpose broke it even more.

So what mouse shall I get, specifically, one that works with OS X so I can use the extra buttons for Exposé and Widgets etc. Don't really have a budget, should be a full size one (not a portable/laptop one) and wireless preferred.

Just pick a Bluetooth one you like the feel of, pretty much any recent BT mouse will work just fine, and the buttons usually work ok without any messing about.

I use a MS Intellimouse Explorer 3.0A and love it, very comfortable mouse and all buttons are easily mapped to expose/spaces and dashboard. :)

ignore that... just spotted the wireless comment. :(

Razer Pro v1.6, its white and works from plug an play just set the buttons in system preferences dont have to install the razer software. And no batteries or charging :p

Like the look of this one, do you own one? And do you like it? Also, remove the hot-link please :)

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I do like the look of that Razer Pro as I used to have a Razer Diamondback.

I have a Logitech G5.

2 thumb buttons that can be configured for Expose and Dashboard, plus 2 sensitivity buttons. Perfect for me :)

Cool, that looks nice too, hmm!

And also, OT, I dreamt we had a OcUK meet at your house Dan.. :/

Razr would be my choice. Although designed for gaming they are silky smooth. Have one on my PC at home during my CS days.

Yep. It's a little unconventional but it's a quality mouse. IMO ergonomics should be at the front of everyone's mind. You do NOT want RSI to creep up on you.

Logitech G9 - buttons are configurable to what I use them for (spaces and expose)

excellent mouse - great size and sensitivity buttons on the side

@Sic: That thing looks like The Borg's official mice, should they branch out into perhiperals ;)
