Somewhere in the middle.
Right im 6.4, skinny as hell, and I love food.

Its obvious im not eating as much as i think i am, otherwise i wouldnt be skinny. I dont eat healthy, i eat too much junk so im going to iron this out.

My plan is to eat something like..

Breakfast - Porridge oats, 1 toasted bagel with whole earth peanut butter.
Mid morning - Tuna sandwich, banana, protein shake
Dinner - Chicken breast, pasta, some kind of sauce.
Mid afternoon - Maybe some kind of oatbar or somethin and a protein drink
Tea - Steak , chips and baked beans :)
Night - scrambled egg on toast

i wouldnt eat that all day every day, but does it seem to have a decent balance?

guessing its missing some fruit

Im gonna have to concentrate on core lifts too i guess. Squats, benches, curls, leg presses. I suppose if i do too many routines ill not gain as well

By core you actually mean:

squats
deadlifts
shoulder presses
bench presses / dips
chins

?

Id cut out the chips, its letting down the rest of your diet, and get some fruits/veggies in their, you need to microvits/nutrients.

I thought i could get away with chips as im a twig lol

probably not the best approach though so ill take onboard what your saying. Veg wise im not too keen on much.

i love spinich (which i normally mix with scrambled egg), carrots, turnip.. thats about the only green/veggie kinda things i seem to like.

i spose i could force feed myself other veg if its essential to balance it out :)

If you are really struggling to get the veg down you perhaps get some greens powder? Although I always advocate a variety of fresh fruits and veg.

A Bulk shouldnt just be about volume (although this is important), but about eating clean aswell.

If you don't like veg you can always blend them into something or mash them into potato.

There's more to putting on weight than just eating a lot. You have to eat well. Train hard, and sleep well. IT takes dedication and spirit and strong mind and sense of wanting to achieve. It's not an easy ride, so don't be fooled and don't take short cuts. There's no point.

Go for SuperFoods as a Veggie supplement if you're finding it hard eating enough.
How much do you weigh by the way?

Then you have the right frame of mind as 6'4" and 12.5 stone will be rather skinny ;)
I still think I'm 'skinny' also at 6'4" and 15.5 stone but I think that's just the mental image I have of myself from my younger days (anybody else get that?)

I used to be like that, It changed when people started complimenting how big I was.

I made another post a while back with a complete plan, you should really take a look at it.

I cant find it but I'm sure somebody can remember which thread it was that I posted in.

Yeah I guess I know what you mean - lot of compliments lately as not seen people in 6months so that's always good to hear!! I guess the good thing is I'm never content lol
How was your trip by the way mate?

It wasn't too bad, ended up just doing the usual stuff wasting time. Had some guy I ****ed off as a kid come looking for me only to have a bit of a heart attack. Needless to say it was him doing the running this time.

Went to Paris (dont know why) for a few days ended up missing my flight and had to take one a day later :o

Glad to be back here though....well apart from the 103 degree heat :eek:

I take it your still over there?

lol sounds like you had time to waste ;) Good job on the intimidation too!
Yep I'm over here shoveling all the money I can into my savings at the moment (it's great when you convert it ;)), still hate the gym here and all the pretentious idiots that bicep curl it to the max!!
Mate send me an email (in trust) when you get a chance - sorry for going off topic OP :D

I'm just about 6'1" and just over 15 stone (96kg) and I feel like I need to bulk out more... we're never satisfied with the way we look! lol!

Yep, I'm not a massive fan of some veggies so I make them into soup.
Have a bowl before some of my meals and it helps to fill me up a treat.

The one I have currently is broccoli, spinach and pea soup - tastes pretty nice when all blended together.
I buy frozen veg so that it keeps longer, apparently frozen has the most nutrients as well.
250g spinach, 250g broccoli and 150g peas cooked for 10 mins in some homemade chicken stock (with all the fat skimmed off obviously) and then blended together.
That makes 4 bowls, one bowl has 60 calories, 5g of fibre and lots of vitamins.

Dr Cox sums it up quite nicely in Scrubs:

Cox: The key to my exercise program is this one simple truth: I hate my body.
Turk: What!?
Cox: Do you understand that the second you look in the mirror and you're happy with what you see, baby, you just lost the battle?
Turk: You should give speeches to teenage girls.

What about stir fried veg? Not sure the the nutritional implications but I could eat a plate full of stir fried vegtables on their own. Carrots, Baby Corn, Mange Tout, Sweet Peas, Onions, Brocoli, Cauliflower fried in a wok with olive oil. Yum.
