I'm liking the look of this one very much! Due for release early Q4 this year.

See, I thought the leap from 3.2mp to 5mp in the form of the K850i would result in better pictures, if anything the quality deteriorated! Hope it's not the case with this one.

C905 seems to have a bigger lens with a nice long focal length (5.91mm). So hopefully we should see a respectable increase in image quality.

But will that 8MP camera do decent video recording? The one main area for me that sony ericsson camera phones have been lagging behind Nokia. Phones such as the N95 for example can do 30FPS VGA video recording. If the C905 can do 30FPS VGA recording then it will be my next phone without question :)

Mmmm will get these when our contract comes up for renewal :)

Christmas bonus oh yes!

Love my 850 but it feels so fragile, and the silly side photo button has already broken.

Oooohohoho, innnnteresting.

This is the first phone I've been immediately interested in in over a year. But as said, if it is a media phone then I really hope they can get a good quality on the pictures (k800, anyone?), still have a xenon flash AND PLEASE have great video capabilities, the k800 was pathetic at it, poor thing.

If the C905 can do 30FPS VGA recording...

I have a very strong feeling it will do. But this is just based on bits and pieces I've read on forums and other such things.

I hope it does too; the video on my K810i is pretty poor. Not that I use it all that often, but having a better video function would probably mean I use it more.

I wonder what the battery life will be like, seeing as the N95s is insufficient most of the time...

Sony Ericsson said:
The battery is good for 380 hours of standby or 9 hours of talk on GSM networks, or 360 hours of standby or 4 hours of talk on 3G networks.

Now I know this is to be taken with a pinch of salt as it is manufacturer's spec, but the battery on SE phones is normally something I cannot fault.

My K810i has been on for more than a week without charging, with occasional use for the odd text or call. I imagine the C905 will be about the same.
