What has been your favourite gig you have been to, this could be because of how good the band were, the atmosphere, the venue or whatever.

Mine is probably seeing the Sex Pistols in Brixton in November last year. It was just the atmosphere of the gig created by all the different types of people there. There was young, old, punks, skinheads, 'chavs', rastas, goths, metalheads, 'normal' people. Every sort of social group seemed to be there. I saw a few famous people too.. Jonathon Ross, Ian Wright, Jimmy Page (i think).

maybe it's just me but most gigs I have been to seem to have the majority of fans there seem to be the same.

I think also the fact everybody knew that this was probably there only chance ever to see the Sex Pistols added to the atmosphere. I never felt anything like it anywhere else.
 
My gf is doing a photo shoot with them tomorrow night, definately one of my favourite live bands. My favourite gig was Smashing Pumpkins at the NEC in around '96. Got some tickets for way less than face value off some touts and was treated to an incredible show :).

This. We were at the same gig weren't we?

Either that or Sigur Ros for me. Totally different ends of the spectrum. :p
 
Seeing Bloc Party in Brighton last summer. At the Concorde 2, so very small and intimate venue.

Shook hands with Kele :D Was just a brilliant experience.

Christ... It was 15 years ago now, which in itself is quite scary :(

Anyway, it was RATM in the Tivoli in Dublin. I wasn't a huge fan, but man, that show was ******* mental!

i was about 4 rows from front in middle. never even realised it was so full that people where outside the tent watching...

2nd is probably seeing justice live show in the small club ive spent all my drinking years in. like sardines in a tin and came out looking like a drowned rat but was well worth it:p

Incubus supported by Hundred reasons
Pitchshifter supported by Skindred and This Is Menace.
 
Björk @ Glastonbury last year.

Stunning, and to think some people went to watch the Arctic Monkeys on the pyramid stage instead. :S

also nizlopi in the joiners in southampton, hadnt heard of them, turned up and some random guy starts singing in the middle of the room, the night just got better and better!
