I'm not saying that you should buy one I'm just saying don't just dismiss it
They have quite different personalities
Drive both and then you'll be thinking differently. The MG ZS is definitely worth more than a 400 IMO - they're aiming for different markets
I recently sold my ZR and I wish I hadn't. The MG Zed cars are just so much fun
No...it really wouldn't lol. With my age, location and history. The ZS 2.5L V6 was the limit.![]()

how much is your insruance on this then?
ain't you 19 and already wrapped a new astra?
Remind yourself of your record when it comes to car 'incidents', then kindly refrain from jabbing about his!
We know you can get a MK3 Mondeo cheaper than what he bought the ZS for too, before you remind him for a 2nd time.
ZT has the same 2.5 V6 engine, which coincidentally is the same insurance group.
If you say so.
I researched ZR's, ZS's and ZT's thoroughly, believed the same as you do, then actually ran some insurance quotes.
Nice upgrade from the saab, enjoy it matey.
Other than Tom's being a MK2 not 3, and neither being that "fast", then yeah, its a decent analogy![]()
I think they are fairly nice cars, all of them seem to be in that bright blue you have though...don't like it myself.
Tom's Mondy, is primarily a fast 4dr family saloon car, which has been modified and eats up twisties when needed.
The ZS, is primarily a fast twistie muncher which can be used as a family saloon car when needed.
