Metallica Name New Album

Metallica garnered much anticipation with a website tease of their upcoming albums title. From June 9th to June 14th, Metallica's website had been releasing a new photo giving more and more letters of their album's name, though the title of the news story only read "???" Finally, on the 14th, the last of the photos was released giving the full name of their 9th studio album to date: Death Magnetic

Decent enough name, have heard the new tracks on YouTube and they aren't too bad.. fingers crossed!

Only heard the one they played at download a couple of years ago, thought it was pretty good, far far better than the album that didn't happen.

I've heard some of the new tracks on you tube and liking it so far! i hope its a bit better than st. anger even though i like a few songs on it, it just wasn't right!

Anything will be an improvement on St. Anger I imagine, that album was just crap.

Thats not the actual metallica album, none of it has been released yet, so dont think youtube are hosting pirate copies.

They are hosting the mission, but its nothing special.

Death Magnetic?

From the snippets I've heard on Mission, they're going away from the St.Anger style and back to something a bit heavier - something in the vein of the black album.

Please let it be better than St.Anger, that was awful.

Funny that; I was listening to 'And Justice For All' for the first time in ages today... Being a bassist, I could never forget the basslessness, but I had completely forgotten how bad Lars' kit sounds. Ouch.
