petrol prices

Sainburies 97 seems alright when I used it in the Z4, not to mention its practically on my doorstep as opposed to shell which is 15 mile round trip for Vpower.

im really baffled as to why the shell garage near me are still fine? I filled up 2 days ago, and not only did they have everything bar vpower diesel, they were the cheapest in town!

If no one HAD panic-bought - then you wouldn't have experienced the same problem - you would have found that almost all the petrol stations you passed did have fuel.

I know, but that kind of 'perfect world' doesn't exist. It only takes a few people to queue up at a petrol station to trigger this kind of cascade.

Pretty much the same situation for me - Sainsburys at the bottom of the road, Shell 20 miles up the A38. I tend to use Vpower when I'm off somewhere as I go past the Shell garage.

The supermarkets seem to be the only ones who have their act together. Esso, Texaco, BP, Shell (understandable) and Jet are now dry in this area. Sainsbury's and Tesco are both still selling.

i just cant believe how much it is now from when i started this thread its just stupid am even thinking of biking 20miles to work just to save my petrol  118/120 around ripon and harrogate i mean how far of is 150

Glad I'm not paying for it!

at this rate of increase they reckon it will soon be £2 ltr ,thats like over £100 to fill your car up .
Most people probably use this in a week add running costs ,deprecation ,hp ,£150-£250 a week to run a car .
Would be interesting to see how many people can afford the luxury .

Woah, I NEEDED fuel today.... cost me £1.19 a litre.... ******** fuel strike, I have had enough with being bum raped for fuel... but sadly I don't know what I can do about it other than rant on here. :(

Buy a diesel & put red diesel in, about 80 p a litre ;)
