On filehippo it gave me the RC3 version?

Or maybe not? This is from the about page:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0

I current have RC2 so there wont be any change in the actual release install however i still find myself constantly refreshing the firefox page looking for it to say firefox3 like a 5year old on christmas eve, im going crazy

I know i could use the links above but it aint the same :P

That link is dead. EDIT: Thats better. But is it the final version?
Shall we not resort to posting dozens of links until we know its the FINAL version?

Guys, if you're running RC2 or RC3 on Win/Linux or RC3 on Mac, then there's no reason to download the final other than to contribute to the record attempt, or because you feel like it :p

On Win, Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0 is the final version.

Thats what my about page says for the release candidate install, im just downloading the release to support firefox, even though its kinda pointless but hey if it means a lot to them then the least i can do is support them

Lol finally got onto the firefox3 download site. Click the big red box saying download firefox 3 and it takes me to download firefox 2 lol

If i just open FF3, it uses 41MB (google as homepage)

Doesn't sound abnormal.

The outpouring of interest and enthusiasm around Firefox 3 has been overwhelming (literally!). Our servers are currently feeling the burn and should be back to normal shortly. Download day will officially commence once the site goes live. The 24 hours period will be clocked from that moment. Thanks for your continued support.
