Swallowing Pills

I just chuck them to the back of my throat and swallow, then have some water or something to get rid of the taste. I'm fine with small/medium pills but big ones often make me retch a bit, I don't like them. Bleh.
 
can swallow em without water too. have also stupidly chewed a paracetomol (bad bad baaaad taste!)

the huge ibuprofen tablets are the best. can feel em sliding down your throat :/
 
I was always sick as a child (didn't feel like it at the time but looking back I took a LOT of pills) and from then I learned how to swollow pills with water at a young age, even tried to better myself at times, 2 in 1 go, 5 in 1 go (different types....etc...must've been really sick that time!). It was almost a little game i was playing.

I have at times swollow asprin without a drink when i needed one but have no water at hand, takes practice but it's not difficult.
 
I always find it best to take a mouth full of water, hold it in, tilt head upward and open mouth a bit so water doesn't tip out. Pop pill in and swallow. All done...
 
I just found a few of these baby's in my cupboard, they are both 500mg Paracetamol's, the one on the left is the standard size to give you a comparison, don't think I'd manage sallowing that beast.

Some medicines will actually kill you if you crush the pill before you take it due to destroying the outter coating and releasing the active ingredients too fast, so if your taking something unfamiliar always check the label or with the pharmacy
