With AA it seems to do a lot better than the 9800 GTX and 8800 Ultra in a lot of benchmarks. Impressive.

Edit: Hell, on closer inspection it's doing better than the GTX260 with AA in some benchmarks. AA definitely looking to be a strong point of this card.

Its doesnt look like its all that much better than a 3870. In some games it does very well in others not so well.

If that review is accurate i will not be upgradeing from my 8800gt

So a Review showing the budget 4850 beating a 9800GTX with 4xaa and sometimes beating a GTX260 for £270 is disappointing?

It beats a 9800GTX and a 8800 Ultra,

God, what were people expecting?

A 4850 beating a GTX280?

that french site benchmarks shwo the performance of the 4850 to be very inconsistant, in some games its damn good and in other games its poor.

Mate, look at the antialiasing results, they actually beat the GTX260 in Oblivion, GRID and without AA in Bioshock. I think you're looking at the power consumption benchmarks. :p
