With AA it seems to do a lot better than the 9800 GTX and 8800 Ultra in a lot of benchmarks. Impressive.

Edit: Hell, on closer inspection it's doing better than the GTX260 with AA in some benchmarks. AA definitely looking to be a strong point of this card.

that french site benchmarks shwo the performance of the 4850 to be very inconsistant, in some games its damn good and in other games its poor.

whats the estimated price of the 4850 in Uk poundage?

Mate, look at the antialiasing results, they actually beat the GTX260 in Oblivion, GRID and without AA in Bioshock. I think you're looking at the power consumption benchmarks.

The only game that it is only 4 fps faster is in Crysis, the other benchmarks show quite a bit more improvment
