*** ATI RADEON 4850 IN STOCK! ***

"AMD's new 4850 just destroys its competition and just about everything else in this test. Not even the new GTX 260 which costs twice as much can touch this card in Bioshock. Performance here is simply incredible".

"While NVIDIA has been the reigning Call of Duty champion for quite some time, the 4850 really changes things up. The gap between the 9800 GTX and the 4850 gets smaller as resolution increases, but even at 2560x1600 the previously more expensive 9800 GTX loses out. "
:eek::p

"Take two 4850s, put them together and now you've got something even faster than NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 280 in most cases."

Awsome!

I think OCUK will get my money when the 4870's are released... hopefully if they are maybe 180 then I will be a grabbing one :)

The 50's are very nice price though :)

Prices have already gone up. Expect around 210-230 I believe. Competitors have the card listed for more..

After reading this, I have to say that 4850 is one heck of a card for that price. Wait for a few more weeks and it will even get cheaper!!! Can't wait for what 4870 can do to nVidia, I remember nVidia's CEO said before the launch of 200 series, "we're going to open a can of whoop ass", now with the stupid price tag of £400 nV asking for 280, looks like their arses are going to be whooped on both cheeks by some beefy 4870 in XFire :D

Even without reading 4870 reviews, I already know that it is a bloody bargain:o nV just shot themselves in the arse by their pricing strategy and an utmost arrogant attitude.

Tagan's seem to go for cheap caps these days so i wouldn't recommend them. It should run it without a problem but reliability could be a problem in the long run.

Thanks for the reply...ahhhh right think i'll forget one of those then ;-) are the zalman 850 heatpipe psu's any good?
