Thinking of selling the PS3 - am i mad?

No one ever seems to agree on what I'm biased towards though =/

They say Halo when I've always said CoD4 is the better game, and I like the PS2, 360 and Wii equally, I'm just not a fan of the current PS3 game selection although I will be picking one up when there is a GT5, Resistance 2 and MGS4 package out. I dislike the ancient PS3 controller too but have praised the hardware many time, just blind idiots refuse to acknowledge those posts but not much I can do about retards in general.

Well you're completely wiicentric with a dislike for anything PS3 imo. I think it's really rich you calling me a fangirl tbh. I see you are defending yourself as not being a fangirl - care to eleborate on how I am one just because I prefer the PS3 over the other two? I don't go slating the Wii or 360 and I challenge you to find a post where I have ;)


Anyway, my original point was aimed at TheStig as he very rarely has a good point to say about the PS3 so it's no wonder he is selling his - I'm suprised he even bought one in the first place!

I wouldn’t say you’re mad, we each see different plus and minus points in both of those consoles, personally I prefer my PS3 over my 360, but that’s just my opinion, and I certainly wouldn’t sell my 360.

If you need the cash then sell it, if not, why not keep it, just in case something comes out for it that won’t come to the 360 or PC?

I'm sure you don't, it was more a point that unless you need the money and you have a 60GB version I would say hang onto it if not you won't have the option to get one like for like.

Obviously if the cash is needed then it's a no brainer get rid and buy a new
40GB if and when you want one.

TBH I'm in a similar position with both my PSP and Wii, neither get used but I know if I sell them I'll end up losing money at the end of the day as I'm bound to want one sometime in the future.
 
If a mod tells me to stop then I'll stop, otherwise I'll carry on as I please :p

Just sell it if you don't enjoy using it anymore.

I think im going to keep it due to all of the replies on here.....i appreciate the response fellas :D

If anything i might stick it upstairs in our bedroom as a media box and for the times i can't get on the lounge TV (we've got a 37" HDTV up there)

Then again i might just leave it where it is and use Lukes Xbox 360 up there and use that for the same thing.
