Who thinks there are less regular women on here than yester-years?

I don't think there are less girls, I just think less attention is drawn to the fact. Back when I first joined, there was always a big deal made about girls and we were frequently asked for photos. The environment of the forums was very different, I think the fact there were some girls who demanded constant attention made the rest of us more willing to participate in all of it.

I don't think I post any less, but I generally don't draw attention to my gender. I'll make posts mentioning my boyfriend if it's something that I would mention regardless of who I was talking to, but I don't say "I'm a girl, I'm a girl". These days, I'd rather people assumed I was a guy, because it means I'm just blending in.

I like the views to posts ratio on this topic... seems everyone gets excited at the mention of "women" :D

As a survey once said, i judge many things visually and learn visually as well. So i remember people often by their sig rather than their name. So many people who i have thought were guys have actually turned out to be girls. Infact im yet to realise someone is a girl before i read in one of their posts stating they are. Even knip with her pink sig didn't really strike me either. :o

Not in Scotland it isn't, up here they are all called Agnes, Elspeth or Mary. No exceptions. It also means you don't actually have to try and remember girls names, having a 1/3 chance makes it so much easier if you forget.

Haha ooh and surnames Mcsomething or O'something, typical celtic names.
