I honestly can't believe the insensitivity of posters on here who think he 'deserved' to lose a foot for kicking a wall.
If that happened on my property I would be gutted for the lad even though I'd want justice for the damage.
We've all done stupid things but we don't deserve to be crippled for them.

I've damaged/burnt things when I was younger sure, however my brain would click in well before that point to indicate that/if I was likely to injure myself.
He quite clearly deserved to be a cripple for it as he was too stupid to realise otherwise.
Like there is nothing better to do than go about taping your mate kicking in walls?

He won't have lost that leg if his mate was any good, however my sentiment remains the same.
Yes, I have no sympathy for someone who puts themselves in harms way by carrying out mindless destruction of other peoples property.
Alas, the loss of one leg probably won't stop him pro-creating with his 13 year old girlfreind, so the gene pool isn't safe.

Yes he deserves it for failing to understand elementary mechanics, should have paid more attention in school.
Kid was an idiot - whatever happened to him he deserved it. They need to learn the consequences of their actions - do something stupid - face the consequences. He'll think twice before damaging someone elses property now won't he (notwithstanding the fact he'd struggle to knock a wall down with a prosthetic foot).

Everyone is human and has done/will do stupid stuff from time to time.
I feel for the kid, one stupid action and he has lost his foot (if it is true it was amputated). Thats a very high price for a moments stupidity that is probably repeated and eclipsed by people all over the world only a daily basis, without any kind of punishment - karmic or official.

Lads always mess about with stuff, We would climb trees, snap branches off, run through peoples gardens, throw eggs at windows on halloween etc.
