What are the chances...?

Some people its no wonder they get fraud commited against them.
Some woman the other day at tills "darling whats the number?" "it's 6247" out loud.
Or you see people get their phone out, or a bit of paper.
Seen it so many times, if I nicked your wallet coming out of the store or your card was skimmed, you're ******.

Op, how do you go shopping and not have any real form of payment on you? I mean i've gone into a store thought, **** left my wallet and gone home to get it, but how do you only have a card to which you have no number.

I saw it all when I worked in a shop.

Biggles: "Just type your PIN in here."
Customer: "It's 9848."
B: "No... erm... never mind."

I've even seen a card with the pin number written on it.

That's a very good point. Everyone says pin number when that is really saying "number" 2x over.... I'm going to change what I say to customers at work now :o

Oh I just remembered I also have a pretty good luck story.

When I was in 6th form I was way behind on Biology, had an assignment in for the next day and I hadn't done any of it. I didn't really have a clue how to do it anyway so I was buggered. I just accepted that I was going to fail. So during my lunch break I went into one of the many computer rooms and sat at one of the hundreds and hundreds of computers in the school so I could waste time browsing the net...etc.

I look down and see that someone has left a floppy disc in the drive. I take a look at whats on it, and to my amazement it's someone's completed Biology assignment, the exact assignment that I needed to hand in tomorrow.

Changed the name and the wording, re-arranged some stuff and kerching!, I handed in the assignment the next day and passed.

Although I did fail the entire unit at the end of the year so it didn't make much difference :D

Popped into the supermarket on the way home from work today, but when I got to the checkout I realized the only card I had on me was from a new account and I didn't have the pin number yet.

I know you get three tries at entering your pin, so I thought what the hell - may as well punch a few random buttons. First time = incorrect pin (no suprises there). Second attempt = correct number!

Couldn't believe it. Must be a heck of a small chance of that happening. :o

You RANDOMLY GUESSED your new PIN? You're seriously saying that?

its less than 10,000. as you cannot have numbers such as 1111, 2222, 3333, 4444 and so on and so on.
Oh and i dont think you can have 1234, 2345 either
