Heinz has withdrawn its Deli Mayo TV ad that featured two men sharing a kiss and apologised to viewers after the advertising regulator received about 200 complaints that it was offensive and inappropriate.

The Heinz Deli Mayo ad has been pulled after less than a week on air after viewers complained to the Advertising Standards Authority that it was "offensive" and "inappropriate to see two men kissing".

Video In the link !

So, people, should it have been pulled? Do you think it was inappropriate?

That's ridiculous!!

The ad is harmless.

You don't see the Bounty ads being pulled for promoting tranvestiteism?

Surprised they got away with pulling it, give it a week and they will have 1000 complaints that its gay discrimination.

That advert was brilliant and very funny. Can't believe it's been pulled for being "offensive" people are too damn soft.

so we got a thread about the PC's thinking a hard working polish man is bad. and on the other hand we cant see gay people kissing. am i missing something here, is this not discriminating against gays.
people are far to soft. whats the next step how about gays complaining about hetros kissing on tv. FFS its unbelivable, most of the people complaining it wont affect them.

I thought the ad was funny, and for Christ's sake they give eachother the smallest little peck you've ever seen.

The kiss/peck is the comical climax of the ad! It's a joke! It's not like they started bumming eachother while slathering mayonnaise all over themselves or something.

Heinz and the ASA need to have some balls. Balls made of common sense.
