Awesome! Been waiting for a decent Track & Field style game for AGES.

The graphics in this look pretty nice and the videos are pretty impressive.

Anyone else into these kind of games?

Beijing 2008 features some 38 events for you to compete in, ranging from basic staples like the 100 meter dash to more complex trials like the uneven bars or even Judo. As is the case with any of these titles, it's the control mechanics that make or break events, and fortunately Eurocom looks to have done most everything justice while also managing to mix things up a great deal.

Aren't most licensed Olympic video games terrible?

Track and Field on PSX is where it was at!

looks interesting,, review looks promising, like the idea of the new control systems they mention on some of the events.

Looking forward to playing this with my daughter, me hopes its good. She beat the pants off me (not literally) at Sonic vs Mario at the olympics, so im hoping to fare better on this.

athlete kings on the sega saturn was the best game of this type IMO still have fond memorys of the old SS

I bought another sega saturn recently for that game. I'm hoping this game is something like it.

This game is also by Sega, its extremely sweat enducing and brings back all the fun of Track and Field on the playstation (and obviously track and field in the arcade).

Just been playing for an hour and ill have to go for a shower before bed, im all sweated up
