Ah yes... I thought you could do that but haven't used the BeBox in some time so wasn't sure.
There is little prospect of dropping your speed by moving to o2. Don't forget to join www.quidco.com and click thru them for a bungback. Last time I looked o2 were cheaper than BE - it's all the same company - BE shows when using torrents and I'm o2.
we get the data from BTs LLU Checker, so theres a good chance your line length is incorrect on there.
o2 bought out Be a while back.
I think you can get an o2 broadband contract and sign up through quidco in the same way and you'll get some money back. Less than with Be though.
Fastpath? Is this similar to Upload Plus?
To get the £15 a moth for up to 20Meg on O2 you have to be an O2 mobile customer. Does it matter if it is PAYG or contract? And how do you prove it? Give them your O2 mobile number?
I think I'd manage a top-up every three months.
And if you are on contract they just leave it as they know you pay every month?
If you’re an O2 Pay Monthly customer and your O2 Pay Monthly contract is terminated for any reason or if you port to another mobile provider, you are no
longer eligible for the Home Broadband discount and will automatically be charged the standard price for your O2 Home Broadband Package from the date of termination of your O2 Pay Monthly contract or porting to another mobile provider.
we can do fastpath on O2 now, did a few modifications to our CS interfaces to bring them in line with Be's.
With regards to getting the same speed you'd get on BT, we are ADSL2+ by default, but we don't have a BRAS setup like BT or a DLM setup like Be*.
Oh, rocking.
I'm quite tempted by the 'friends and family' reduction for the ultimate package then. £7.50/month for 20mbit would be nice![]()
