Hi,

Me and the wife are going on hols to Jersey in a couple of weeks just for 3 days. Never been to a Channel Island so wanted to check one out.

To those that have been, what are the must see/do attractions in Jersey please?

Jumper. aka: pullover, sweater, JERSEY

Day trip to Herm if the weather is nice. Lovely tiny island with no cars.
Jersey zoo - loads of interesting/endangered animals. Something to do with Gerald Durrel iirc.
Loads of WWII stuff.

Jersey Zoo is pretty good, other than that, cant really remember, I went when I was about 8. Also St. Helier is tiny, so not much exploring to do either

*EDIT*

Beware of funny looking basements...

Me & the misses went to jersey for a day trip a few weeks ago....

Both me & the misses enjoyed looking around the jersey Steam, Motor & General Museum museum

If your hiring a car, remember to get some pay parking tickets first...

The zoo looks rubbish now...(Unless your into rare birds) about £11ea for tickets as well :(

Wife and I went to Jersey for our Honeymoon last year.

St Helier has a Castle you can visit - take the amphibious bus from the promenade to get there.

Jersey Zoo is worth a visit.

Lots of beaches and coves to explore.

St. Ouen has a fantastic surfing beach and Jersey Pearl is there, where you can open your own Oyster and keep the pearl.

The is an excellent restaurant on the harbour at St. Aubin

You can go on cruises and day trips to the other Islands.

A week is probably enough.

A week is probably enough.

A week is more than enough if you go in March - all the tourist attractions don't open 'til April

Best beach on the Island is St. Brelades bay, took a nice stroll along there & took in a meal at a nice resturant too.

I'd Say St.Ouens has nicer views.
Go hit the Watersplash around 20:00 - 21:18 down there along the 5mile road, it's nothing stellar but it's a nice atmosphere watching the sun set while you eat dinner.
Half way along the coast :d

Guys, depends what you want to do, what do you like doing/eating/seeing?
Night life or not?

Let's hope the days you come over are good ones like recently.

I always feel tempted to offer a meal out or something it's such a small world here, but I'm quite boring outside of my group of friends annd I don't like to interupt! :D

Should try a hand at outdoor shooting if it's warm weather on a sunday/or clay pidgeon.
Living Legend if you want a brief insight into our history and has a small karting track (electric) ..but were fighting for a proper track but the locals are whingy. :(
