Dualshock 3 date for EU

FINALLY!

"Sony Computer Entertainment Europe announced that the DualShock 3 for that region. The vibration function controller goes on sale in Europe from July 2nd. Says SCEE honcho David Reeves:

We are delighted to confirm that DUALSHOCK 3 will be released in SCEE territories in early July. We hope this will add to the intense gaming experience for our fans, as we continue to evolve PS3, its software and its peripherals.

The controller was announced at last year's Tokyo Game Show and released in Japan on November 11, 2007. North America got the DualShock 3 this past April. Hit the jump for the full press release."

i did a search but couldnt find anything on the topic. about time they release this in europe.

and it costs about £15 more than importing it + the long wait = another **** slap from Sony.

Sony should clam it, this + 2.4 will make the PS3 almost launch ready.

Just ordered one online today, hopefully when it comes out in Europe it isn't significantly cheaper.

i only got mine so i could play ps2 games with feedback that needed it [added to the game]

now i see every new game i buy being totally worthy of dualshock support

i can see why the red tape took it longer to get it brought out in the first place but the delay for an EU model is outrageous

especially since they are not region specific

im glad they are becoming standard though because i think evey ps3 owner should benefit form it

its the better ps3 pad by miles

£40 when it gets released here, apparently. Got mine the week before last for £30 (incl. postage) from an auction website.

£28 delivered from Hong Kong for me, no way it's going to be that cheap once it's released here.

I don't see why people have been waiting for the EU release, just import one.

glad i got mine from NYC, only cost $55...

Although, I dont yet have a PS3 to play with, so im just wiling away the nights tapping the buttons, staring into space....

Meh, got myself one of these months ago, the sixaxis is now reserved for mates, DS3 is a streeteh-only peripheral

Hmm, MGS4, DS3 and FW2.4 .. I may just reconsider a PS3 purchase.
