Haas? Fair, I only was listening to it sparingly through the BBC website. I meant in general, I remember years ago him being very high up in the rankings. Woo, Wiki says that there was a poisoning case a few years ago, but it was dismissed. That's got to play on the mind.

Nadal's dismantling another opponent at the moment. Considering he took Federer to 5 sets last year and has improved a stupid amount on grass this year I really think Federer will be in for a shock should they both reach the final.

Probably posting this a bit late since it was a few days ago but that match with Eaton vs the Russian, the crowd were just ridiculous. Ok cheering a bit is fine, but erupting into hysterical cheers and applaud when the opponent gets a double fault is just way over the line.

I was looking forward to seeing Haas play especially as the commentators were creaming themselves over his backhand. I watched the match, and I thought his backhand was nothing more than ordinary. Not a patch on the backhands of Gasquet and Kohlschreiber, and probably a couple of others aswell.

Speaking of Gasquet, the 4th round match with Murray should be a cracker. Yet to see any really entertaining mens matches so far. Roddick vs Tipsy was one, but the beeb decided they'd rather show Eaton get pummelled. Ancic-Ferrer was also quite good.

Bring on the second week.

Good result for Murray. Not sure what to make of Haas now.

haas is much better on a hardcourt but he played poorly today and it showed with his verbal outbursts - top player on his day but he doesn't have enough of them when it matters unfortunately.

one of my fav guys to watch.....was gutted tbh as i really though he would do murray even on grass.

Good game on atm, federer and hewitt. Some good challenges too, all been correct so far i think, lol.

Federer's backhand is phenomenal :/

Agreed syke, it's scary. Was hoping Hewitt would win the 1st set tie-breaker, would've made it a lot more interesting to see Federer under a little pressure. At a set and 5-2 up in the second, it's going to be too easy.

Yeah if Hewitt won the first i had a feeling he'd get the second.

But the way Federer just side steps and unleashes his backhand is unbelievable. Hopefully Nadal can shake him!
