Surprisingly good question.
I don't know, on the one hand I'd be (slightly) more familiar with the hardware, on the other I'd maybe take more risks and not be lying on the deck like a pussy.

I'm not going to speak for the rest but, CSS competitive is tactical whereas public isn't.
