i get £30 each week, for food and petrol
What the... I got £5 a month for petrol from my dad. You get £30 a week from the taxpayer for food & petrol?!? Or is that just the thin veneer behind which hides a scheme for bribing people to stay in education. How about this for a reward for your education; you work hard & you get a better job. You slack off, you end up on the bins.

erm are we due to recieve a bonus this month, i had the impression it was like the 11th?
I'm not sure about now, but I got my January bonus and I didn't have 100% attendance.
Umm im a sixteen year old, who goes to sixth form/college.
Basically i cant get EMA because my parents earn over the limit to recieve this.
But most of mates get it and really it intensivly annoys me because a lot of them keep this as personal money and doesnt go on anything else. Where as i have to work to provide any extra money i want, and they get money for going to school like the same as me.
Umm personally im not sure if i would take, well actually i would take it, but i know that i can support my self without getting incentives *payed* to go to school, school kids should know that carrying on in education will ultimatly will give them a better future.
