Should I change my lower grille?

So without actually trying to achieve the M5 'look', you will be acheiving it?

Looks better without. ;)

Actually you get less airflow becuase for reasons known only to themselves the Sport grille with Tbar has vents which lead to brake cooling ducts for the front brakes yet the M5 grille without Tbar has these blocked off :p

You know far too much about the E39.:D

The focus has a T Bar and I changed it for the ST170 honeycomb grill. Made a lot of difference I thought. May as well do it Fox.

EDIT : It did only cost me 15 quid though not sure how much this would cost you..

Aww, so no hacksawing is possible. :(

If it costs a lot, is it really worth it then? No point in spending a lump of cash on something that does very little other than slightly improve looks. Having said that I'm bound to spend loads of small improvements on my next car...as that's what I'll be getting it for. :p

£50...not too bad, still quite steep to me (but then I do stuff on the cheap :p).

It doesn't need painting?

Also that's not a bad price. My grille was second hand but were 30 new so 50 seems fair for a BMW part.

of the t-bar is actually attached to the grille? I thought the surround was included... but that would be stupid for £50... and I suppose by surround I really mean 'bumper' which is even more stupid

So yeah, do it :D
