"One of the mysteries of 9/11 is the collapse of the third tower at the World Trade Center, which was never hit by a plane. Is it possible that it was brought down by a controlled demolition"

I will be interested to see this documentary on BB2 tonight, following Top Gear. I am not a 9/11 conspiracy believer (will anyone truly ever know), but the way that massive, 47-storey building fell just from internal fires has always generated a lot of suspicions. If it was really caused by fire alone then it would be "the first and only steel skyscraper in the world to collapse because of fire."

Hopefully the investigation taken out by The National Institute of Standards and Technology, Washington DC, will be able to prove beyond doubt that no foul play took place...

You Tube link to collapse

The thing is though, do you really think that the US Government (or any other concerned parties for that matter) would allow the BBC to broadcast the programme if it proved beyond any doubt that there was foul play?

Wasn't that the one with a huge hole in the side from being hit by part of one of the other towers?

If the US government was running a utopian society in its perfect land of perfectness, I would also think it was capable of pulling off the most amazing dastardly plan in the history of ever... since it just about ****s up everything it comes into contact with however, I will have to blame the pesky fire that nobody was around to tackle due to all being dead or fleeing.

Isn't it obvious that a fire cannot make a building fall like that? There is absolutely no way. A fire eats away at the place where its situated, so if the building did collapse it would crumble into the parts that have sustained fire damage. To have it collapse in a straight line like that, from roof to floor, is completely ridiculous. The same thing for the two main towers, theres just no way they would fall like they did from fire damage alone.

Notice the planes that flew into them at all?

:p

First obvious question - If you weren't going to fly a plane into that particular building, then why blow it up and leave yourself open to these silly theories?

Why not? Makes sense to me that at some point the heat would be enough to make the foundations buckle and subsequently give way and collapse.

No planes hit this building, only debris from the Twin Towers did. This was a separate, 3rd sky scraper that also fell that day.
Yes but the debris from the other two towers damaged it, it was the planes that caused that.

This'll never be put to rest, no matter what the US government says or does. There's just too many theories, too many witness accounts - word of mouth which contradicts everything else.

I'm personally undecided, even after having looked at numerous amounts of 'evidence' supporting each argument. However I will say I'd never trust the US government or the CIA.
