The Extremes means its DDR3, you can get the P45 Formula or current older X48 both are DDR2.

Yip but its the future soon with Nehalem as they are all DDR3 and prices should fall.

The Triple Channel ain't an issue (to anyone concerned), I'm sure you can buy a single stick of Memory to add to existing Dual Channel kits.

It's x48 and not p45. Asus must have a job lot of x48 chips they want shifting.

I have the Rampage Formula and from what i see the only difference (apart from the heat sinks) is 2 extra sata ports , ddr3 and water block.

The Rampage Formula is a fantastic board in my opinion so i am sure this board will also be a great overclocker , but with the looming release of Nehalem and X58 chipsets i think the price will stop people buying it...

I stand corrected , there are a few more features on the board...

Yeh but with Nehalem only lauching with £1k+ extreme chips, Its going to be well over a year untill well normal chips are out, X48 still have a lot of life left in it yet.

Yeh Intel are going to lunch normal Nehalem chips at the end of the year and total kill all sales of there current motherboards and chips.....lol
