300bhp and only 135mph top speed? I know the aero dynamics are awful but that still seems terribly low?

Because the tyres are rated at a higher speed and cost more money..

its why a lot of cars are limited to 155mph im told.. as to make it safe at 200mph costs a lot more ££

You've been told a load of rubbish. Many cars are limited to 155mph becuase of a gentlemens agreement between German manufacturers.

My car for example has tyres rated for 186mph.

Does anyone know anything about the engine thats used? How do you not know its a very difficult engine to tune? And that the 30bhp is quite an achievement?

There are no power graphs or torque figures either, they could be amazing for all you lot know. It may drive far better than the original motor.

£17000 for 30bhp and some stick on tat, it would need to drive a hell of a lot better than the original!
