We are all more than the sum of our parts and instincts though. I always take any layman's psychology book with a pinch of salt.
 
women are strange creatures.. the fact that you spent so long with the last partner shows you're capable of commitment.. and for some reason they seem to like that.. hell I've had more offers since I was married than I ever had when I was single.. (politely declined of course)

So knowing the history.. you might find that's actually adding to your attraction rather than deterring.. i.e she wants you while you're still relationship minded rather than after 7 months of singledom and tasting lots of forbidden (but not any more) fruit..

Just an idea..

We are all advising you on the internets on an overclockers forum about hitting this gorgeous girl.

Just get on with it, from your first post it sounds like the strong friendship that blossoms into something more, no matter how you feel now after long relationships, yadda yadda. Don't blow it, but watch out for alcohol, one or both of you might have too much, screw it all up, or just end up screwing anyway.

Make sure if it is the latter then you don't get too drunk as it might just be awkward, but also could show the other 1/2 that you want something. And most importantly give her awesome snuggles and cook her as awesome breakfast !!!!!
 
i also have a 2 friends similar to this

1) Have slept, as in zzzzz, with. No trouble, no weirdness, no touching etc.

2) Will kiss on the lips, like a peck, and its cool. Never any more.

I say keep it as it is!
 
Mate, seriously she's hot....next time your cuddling on the sofa try giving her a lingering kiss on the cheek followed by a look into her eyes and then if it feels right, poke her peach.

She's not sure, but reckons I should just keep things as they are, if she does want more, she'll either have to make the first move or just move on.

Safest bet really.
