Just given that a try, says : ' No Sim Card Installed, insert an unlocked and valid SIM to activate iPhone'

Walked in at 5 after having mine put by in the morning, strolled up to the counter full of people asking for 16Gb

"Sorry none available"

I walk up

"Heres your 16gb iphone sir"

haha got so many dirty looks

So whats the deal with the sim then? Do I use the one from my old iPhone if I want the same number and carrying on a contract

Well I can't activate my new contract, but my old SIM is letting me use the iphone just fine

Remote works so well.

Guys - I am interested to know how iplayer works over 3g.. Can anyone give it a try - would be really interesting to see how it works.

Just tried disabling wifi to force 3G use, on iplayer you get

"Sorry, television programmes can only be watched over a wifi connection"

Which sucks tbh.

I can use mine without the sim unlocked! I just pressed the home button and it fired up.

Nope nothing yet, although I just got a text from someone so I obviously dont need to activate it lol, was a bit surprised

Well i'm a new customer who's had the phone through the post, deffo won't work
