Unlock iPhone V2

If I buy the pay as you go version, is it possible to use my normal o2 sim in one of these? Not the iphone sim.

Thanks

I've sent you an email. But...

Could you elaborate? What did you get working? Mail? Contacts? Calendar?

Specifically, do you know whether you can share calendars on the iPhone like with Outlook, e.g. being able to view your calendar alongside someone else's?

Sent u one back mate, will check shared calenders now.

No.
But the contract is good value for money. Why have a device that you will use tons of data on without an unlimited data contract?

I really don't understand people who complain about the o2 contract. It's excellent value.

Yeah but we dont live in the 90's anymore.. I mean, facebook, msn etc? it's all indirectly free. And you're generally gonna be near a computer pretty much all of the time..

And a contract for 1 1/2 years? :( with the pace that technologys changing...

Sorry if this sounds a bit retarded but how do I access the free public wifi hotspots? I beleive we all have free access to this service as part of our contracts?

Cheers. :)

Ah thanks for that. :) Wasn't quite sure how it worked, thought it might of worked from a username and password or something, I guess using a phone number is much simpler. :)

OK... so why do you want a mobile internet device then?
Surely if you want the internet in your pocket then unlimited data is kinda a must?
If you don't want to net part and just want the phone, why bother? There are better basic phones out there.

Just doesn't make snese to me when people want the device functionality but aren't willing to pay for the data tariffs. It's not like they cost a lot of money or anything.
