Agreed.

Surely fans of Final Fantasy are more happy that the series is going to appear on both consoles, meaning more people can enjoy the game?

Umm? if i hated the console i wouldnt own it? I do buy games for my 360 just not rpg's due to the reliability issues (this isnt about the rrod, this is due to the dvd drives, mine has failed twice).

As for the person who said " the company has faith in their product".
I never said square dont have faith in their product, i was saying, they might not have faith in microsofts product.

Oh, also just to throw this in, i got a gameboy ds and gamecube, just to try out FF: Crystal Chronicles. so i have no objections on other consoles getting parts of the FF series.

If you think i'm trolling then fair enough, but i was simply giving my opinion, if it being different to yours makes it trolling.. then so be it.

The only real downside to this is that it seems its gonna take EVEN longer to come over here! First of all the 360 version aint gonna be worked on till the JPN PS3 version is done ( must be some kinda compromise made for sony JPN?) So we have to wait longer for a US version, then we gotta wait for the PAL version to be translated again. Im glad PS3 games are all multiregion (gonna start learning Japanese lol), and i would think the US 360 version would be to.
 
Pffft, ain't got time to replay games. I've not played any FF after 9 and it seems like I'm not missing out on anything. Wonder if 13 will be worth a shot.

Then where do you play rpgs as the PS3 doesn't have any?

I am a rpg fan and that's the reason I own a 360. Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssy, Eternal Sonata, Enchanted Arms, Mass Effect, Oblivion, Two Worlds all finished without any of the problems you're spouting on about. I'd love to see your gamer profile to see evidence you've ever played a 360 rpg....

There must easily be a 6-month to a year lead time on the PS3 version if the 360 version starts development when the PS3 Japanese one is finished? Enless language translation takes a mission/or theres an agreement for an US/EU joint release?

Mass effect (the only one i finished before getting too annoyed with the dvd drive), Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, Lost Odyssey. Are the ones i can see on my shelf atm.
Imported Hack//G.U. 1 -3 on my ps2.
FF 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12 all completed
FF 11 has a crazy ammount of play time on my pc.
Grandia 3 PS2
Xenosaga 2, ps2, havent had time to play it yet, buts its here ready to play.
Witcher (not sure if you want to count that).
Crisis core + Monster Hunter 2 freedom psp.

you get the picture.
 
I love all the 'Another point for MS' replys in this thread by the fanboys, as if Microsoft put food on their tables. Part of the reason I don't visit these forums anymore is all the fanboy nonsense.

Anyway, good for the 360 owners here, should be a good game, I'm looking forward to it, so the more that get to play it the better.

(nobody has lost here, Sony just want your money as do Microsoft, the sooner people realise that the better this place will be :))

Square Enix will have faith in MS product. They will not add more save points because the drive has failed twice with you. I know the 360 has a high failure rate. But that's in the past and if it worries Square Enix then they shouldn't be making titles for the console.

I dont think most will ever realised that, i realised it but i am still a Nintendo nut at heart.

Here is a lot better than the Gametrailers forums, every post just cries out fanboyism "Microsoft copied sony" "Microsoft home?????" etc, it really does make my blood boil at the amount of crap topics cropping up on their when here we just have 1 thread which is a lot better imo.

I don't think that's the problem.

The main cause as far as I can see is when people only pick one, they're going to fight pretty hard to convince themselves + everyone else that they didn't pick the loser.

The vast majority of the pure fanboy comments come from people who have just the one console imo.

I only picked one does that mean im a fanboy? Or does owning all 3 consoles not make you a fan boy? I never get this "win" or "lose" business, it seems far to playground for my liking!
Not moaning at your post but it always seems a bit daft and i have to agree with ino with this We won you lost business surely its a win win for both in the case of FF13 or is a Win for the 360 Win for the PS3 and lose for the wii? lol
