First time I've seen that. That looks really interesting!
Be interesting to see how it turns out.

Very surprised at the blinkered attitudes of some people here. For a start, not really like Home at all. It's also not really like Mii's, as an interface it looks completely different to those.

Well its not like anything, but it is similar on the eye to what itunes and Nintendo have done. MS are being fashion conscious with the masses in mind, they want to own the living room remember, not the bedroom.

Oh, I don't mind that it looks like (or doesn't?) Home or Mii's. It just looks too kiddy for me. Avatars with big heads and speech bubbles just leaves me cold, whether it looks like another platforms UI or not. I hope there's an option to turn it off so everyone wins.

They can't please everyone. Even if you hate it, its good news if worldwide sales increase, due to it being more pleasing on the eye/easier to use.
I think many parts of the world will take the avatars light heartedly rather than feeeling they are kiddy.

Anything has to be better than the low res, blurry Xbox360 blades we have now. If they were pin-sharp I wouldn't mind, it's the one thing I prefer about the PS3 OS over Xbox360's that are like-for-like. This looks really sharp and that's my favourite thing about it.

I take it that it's a Visa Debit Card then, like the Barclaycard ones.

Thats the one. So how does that make MS's system stupid, if it takes the system used by(most ?) major banks and building soceity's ? (IIRC I never asked for VISA debit, it was standard issue)
