I have, and they are terrible.

I dont want to stereotype or anything of that sort, and the guys seem to go about their business. But the kids and the Mum/girls are terrible. So far I've heard/seen-

1- A girl, a block away from her house, being beaten (till shes in hospital with broken bones) and also they tried to rape her.

2- They hang around parks and drink, and they have huge family gatherings. Once me and my mates where playing football and the ball was nearly hitting the kids, we could'nt move anywhere and asked them to move abit down so they wont get hurt, and they just moaned.

3- They take random cables/metals from our houses. They wanted to take our builders ladder, and tried to take it off his van, and then in front of our house. He shouted at them (hes a big guy) and they went off, and then came back to try again at which piont I told them to go away.

4- They shoplift corner shops, they all run in and try to take things. Also the kids are allowed to run around at stupid times (2-4am?) and just be a pain in the backside, throwing around bins, messing up walls with paint-etc.

Why are they here?

There are some Polish people in Plymouth now.

Every single one I've had cause to interact with has been polite, spoken to me in English, and been very pleasant.

There seem to be a big influx of Ghanans (who seem to be pretty sound when I've spoken to them) and Nigerians (who are downright rude) in my area at the moment.

The Ghanans hate the Nigerians it seems.. even they think they are dirty robbing ********! </Stereotype>

Generally the Polish are a fine lot however we were broken into a couple of years ago and it turned out to be a Polish bloke who did it :/

I personally haven't ever had a problem with them but then I am Polish so it doesn't affect me in quite the same way :)

I assure you most of them (those how moved here more recently) will probably be going home again soon due to the improving conditions !

Sounds like theres just a bad bunch moved into the area as most people say they're decent hard working people.

Yep, a lot of Poles, Slovaks, Latvians moving around here, but ones I've worked with, or know through friends are all nice people.

We have a group of 5 Albanian men, all in their mid to late 20's in the next street. They're always arguing, shouting and hassling women who dare to walk down the street.

The best thing is though, they don't work and yet are capable of running a very nice black E60 545i and dressing in smart clothes expensive looking clothes.

Some polish came to the isle of man hard working and work for a lot less money than i would. I would rather them than dole wallers tbh

send the lazy brits who wont work to poland i say like a foreign exchange

We have a seasonal working population of about 170, and this is made up from 12 different countries - a lot of them eastern europeans.

Apart from a couple strange ones, they are all very hard working, keep to themselves and polite.

and a few are beautiful, i'm trying to get their boyfriends deported.

Sound like Roma Gypsies to me.

Mafia. Do they do those silly over-done handshakes as well? And they clearly don't know that the real Albanian mafia drive X5s.

Oh good, another hate thread. How do you know they were raped? Did they tell you? Sounds like you have a bad lot near you but there are plenty of scummy "British" familys which act in similar ways or worse ways. You need to learn a little empathy IMO.

Yes, we have a road in our town which is full of them. They have even set up a Polish food shop and a Polish bar. If you're not polish and you go in there you get weird looks.

Maybe you should try empathising with the residents of Slough before making such rash generalisations.
