Hmmm, having watched more Prince of Persia stuff, its looking a little less appealing. You can't die in the friggin game. You mess up somehow and that girl that follows you everywhere saves you.

Theres no learning, trying to figure out what to do. Theres no penalty for getting somehting wrong, and therefore am worried the gameplay will not be very rewarding. If the game holds your hand that much, it could get old very quickly.

There is a penalty. You are brought back to the beginning of the section. This gets rid of the frustration of "Game Over" and pressing A as fast you can to get back to playing the damn game.

Coming straight from Microsoft's Community Briefing yesterday (the same one where we got the chance to nibble on delicious chocolate delights), we learned that an Avatar's wardrobe could not only be comprised of those items offered through normal channels, but could potentially come from the earning of game achievements.

Team Microsoft said that the potential is there and developers are showing interest in offering unlockable Avatar content using game achievements. Think of items like a Gears of War 2 tshirt for your Avatar to wear if you earn the Seriously achievement or the unlock of a special ninja mask for completing Ninja Gaiden II on the hardest difficulty. It'd be an extra incentive to go after an achievement IF the achievement itself isn't enough, but the rub here is that you have to actually care about your Avatar's clothing.

Like the new dashboard now I have seen pictures of it, but still not a fan of them Avatars. I suppose they will grow on me. Maybe.

Littlebigplanet and Home - two things that I don't "get"? Could somebody sell them to me?

Little Big Planet

Genre: Build Your Own ****ing Game-'Em Up

Basically, you have your own lil' Sackboy whom you can customise. Next you can design entire levels witht the only limitation being your imagination so really the game is as good as you make it.

You can then share your levels or play in other peoples levels.

It's pretty cool.

Search Youtube for vids.

To be honest, i think Resistance 2 looks a bigger title than Killzone 2, at least R2 is making me want a PS3 KZ2 is an undecided title as its just fancy graphics.

Im also quite surprised they didnt put a date on Play TV unless i missed it which is one of the things i was looking forward to hearing.

I think Sony need a few more Killer titles even though Little Big Planet, Metal Gear 4, Resistance 2 will be the only reason to purchase it for me.

80gb was also a nice announcement so i think i will leave it until christmas to get one.

I don't want a new Halo, I want bungie to work on a new IP and I'm damn sure half of their team do too!

What's DS3?

Edit: Dual Shock 3?

Yes, Wait for the DS3, 80GB + 2 games (probably resistance + Resistance 2 or something) packs to be released for a decent price, that's what I'm doing.
