Corsa VXR "Arctic"Edition

People seem to forget that the £17k list price will not be what people are paying. The clio 197 is listed at around that yet most people are picking them up for under £13k - im sure the same will be true of the VXRs

Don't like caterhams/nobles and that type of car, if I truly had 15K quid, then I'd buy an R33 GTR or a merc S classe/ bmw 7 series...

a merc s class ?, not sure it's a very similar car and would be a 2nd hand shed of a s class for that money ? ..thats like you posting in a 'which apple you prefer' thread and you suggesting your money would go with a banana ;)

i think it's a nice car... lets face it most sporty little cars are this kinda money these days.

10/10 to the styler for all the body kit..

Unlikely on the special edition tbh. There are 500 people stupid enough to pay £17k for the car in the OP.

£15k would actually buy a very nice S Class which would not in any way be a shed. But I agree, it's a completely pointless comparison which has no real value at all but this is snowdog so I'm not sure what you expected :p

That's the point, I don't like supermini's at all, and can't see why anyone would... :). Give me a '' slightly faster than the average car on the road'' car with loads of luxury's and lots of space ( wide and/or long cars, I don't like high cars with a high roof) and I'm happy...

Or if I'd want a sporty car, then I'd be an R33 GTR, an M3, an RS4 ( can 15k buy one? if not then ignore...), an evo, or an impreza or many other coupes or small salloons...

Firstly...I'm a Vauxhall fan but I wouldn't buy a Corsa purely because I don't like small cars.

However, the Corsa VXR drives and handles really well for a car its size and is more entertaining to drive than its older brother. It was never produced to be a family car or anything other than a bit of fun. I also think it looks pretty smart, Vauxhall have finally twigged that they are falling behind when it comes to anything sporty and are finally beginning to produce the goods. If the current VXR range is anything to go by then I look forward to the next generation.

I don't get the whole Special Edition thing, the whole Nurburgring Astra completely escapes me, ok so it has different wheels, it's white and has numbers on the dashboard....big deal! It's just an excuse to make more cash out of gullible idiots who think that just because its white its a bit more special.

Sorry to burst anyones bubble with that last sentence.
