lol well as good as it looks, pics are deceiving and it still is well below the kuros on black performance.

I've found a PDF which has got 'leaked' ? info on the upcoming Kuros (not 10G - just the 500M / 500A models etc).

Not sure if it's OK to post, or if so... where? :P
 
Just watched an interesting yet flawed test on Five. Involved the PDP508XD against a phillips TV. They agreed the kuro was way better but didn't even mention 1 was plasma 1 was lcd or if they had played settings etc. Plus, how about comparing other tv's?!
Anyone else see it?

Just the newer models that are thinner and have a separate media box for the connections. Nice but 2-300 more than the current 9Gs and no difference in PQ.

They have some kinda 'configure via IP' thing as well.. which looks funky, albeit a bit OTT :D

yeah how poor was that comparison lol, shock horror top range plasma @2600 quid is better than 900 quid lcd lol :rolleyes:
Surely the kuro vs the px80 series would have been a better test ,but hell the pioneer sure looked great :) which reminds me must enter the competition :p

I've been thinking of getting the previously mentioned 'monitor only' partly because i don't have any need for built in speakers etc.. but i just noticed that you can't seem them anyway (i could have sworn they were on the side of the bezel...!)
