Just noticed Sim City Societies, from the look of it it's litrally Sim City 5? So why is everyone still playing Sim City 4?, Is Societies not very good?
It's not good. Very limited and simple city building options.

Patch on simcity official site. If you're using IE6+, it will detect your version of simcity and patch it up accordingly. Then you can get some mods if you wantHow many is there? I got one from filefront and it said it cant path, found some file of same name or something

as you can see from my region its pretty big, in the city ive highlighted i have a full mayor rating but there are still no top tier commercial buildings developing. The demand varies but isnt constantly high. Any idea why this might be? My CS$ demand is massive but i dont really know how to fill it?
those look like top tier buildings for me.
Or some of em anyways.
CS$ is low wealth shops, just make loads of low density zones...
You need CO$$ and CO$$$ ( not to confuse with CS$$ and CS $$$) for big skyscrapers...

Purple big bit in my main city is a monorail, still gotta finish it on the industrial city... and the tiny purple bit on the other side of my main city is a small bit of subway becoming elevated, then back to subway again...

Quicker than Underground. However you are right makes no sense as underground is less than a third of the cost (to maintain $0.3 vs $1) and uses less space and is easier to lay out due to 90 degree turns.
