Captain Planet, what utter pish.

We were pretty well coping with a civil thread here, completely contrasting views, but each party holding together civilly, then you wade in with that tosh.

don't think so mate. I know myself well enough to know that i'm balanced in my views, informed, educated on subjects and try to grapple with the moral and social implications of ones actions.

I dont think police are too hard in all cases, and in some cases they should be more active/tougher. Why doesnt this guy go into some estates and do the same to persistent offenders terrorising residents? instead they seem to shy away from real confrontation, or more dangerous situations.

I've seen fights start up at kicking-out time, and the coppers (whom i have respect for, for the good ones) wait until its practically subsided, one guys had the **** kicked out of him, and then step in to separate it. Not all police, but i've seen it enough to concern me. Yet here, with a single girl, 4 are happy to get involved, and she gets thraped.

If you genuinely believe what you typed there, then i pity you and worry that when you go out into the real world, and meet real people, you'll come really unstuck in life.
 
What a load of *****! She was being a bad girl,the big bad police turned up to nick her......she resisted arrest and the officer struck the 'female dog' so he could cuff her.

Its easy to say that the 4th officer was doing nothing but we are watching from a CCTC camera,the 4th officer maybe couldnt see the help was needed OR the restraining officer didnt know officer 4 was there.

Then they get a BLACK GUY to come out with **** about how its like the case in america with the police. No its not! She did something wrong and resisted arrest! :confused: FFS!

Treat the police with a bit of respect and they cut you a bit of slack. I was told to stop swearing after getting my head kicked in and i did....in return nothing was done against me,but we wont go into that.
 
My friend is an officer, he says that it is right for a formal investigation to be held. Excessive force situations warrant scrutiny, particularly as she was female and mixed race as prejudices *may* have come into play :)

Oh yeh i believe that.........she shouldnt have been an idiot and resisted and maybe people wouldnt get clouded by the red mist.

In an instance where a lot of people are involved in a brawl its pretty standard stuff for the Police to sit back and observe initially. That way, they can identify the main people responsible and then move in to arrest them when things have subsided.

Can you imagine the utter chaos if a brawl suddenly errupted outside pub involving heavily 10 intoxicated men and a van full of officers came along and jumped straight in? The safety of officers would be placed at an even greater risk and so would the safety of others.

when said people have been causing a public disturbance for about 15mins prior to fighting, in plain view of the police and had it been intervened sooner it possibly might not get to fighting stage?

Too ******* right. Shoulda hit her even harder. After having criminal damage commited on my car last weekend, and not being able to do squad all about it, due to the fact i didnt see who did it, but know it was one of 2 people. The police did nothing, and told me there enquiries led them to a dead end. My friends got further with his enquires into who did it than they have!

Long storey short, imo she deserved it. If police did this more often it'd make criminals think twice if they knew coppers were willing, ready and able to beat seven shades of the brown stuff outta them.

I didnt even finish watching the video ive seen enough. criminal = scum.

The Dailymail site has the full clip of the footage start to finish, which may or may not put it into a better context (it looks like at one point there are 5 or more officers hanging around, but only 3 are actually able to get involved).

Stupid **** should've behaved herself then only reason she is doing what she is doing is to cause another race row :rolleyes:. She he admitted she was breaking the law in court so end of!

The police force of britain = **** on by this ******* government. Dont even start me on my dads attacker........25 ******* previous conviction and he still gets off with hitting 3 cops,2 women and a guy! Claims self defence as the copper smacked him with the batton when the accused was tryign to pull a female who was under arrest from the car/police officers. :mad:

Don't be so foolish to jump to silly patronising assumptions about people. It's hardly as if you can make such random psychological estimations of an individual based on a post in a forum is it :confused: . So you've seen fights and brawls before? Your perception of the "real world" must be so much beyond that of mine :rolleyes:

Its idiots like this that make me all for a more policed state.
