Trick up Sony's sleeve?

How can a game be incredibly popular, yet top secret?? I suspect it is God of War 3 tbh

Maybe it is DNF exclusive for the PS3 :p

From the trailer I just watched it'd be great if it was heavy rain although like interspaced said it's already been announced, and they've done the same with god of war 3 as well so it can't be that. In fact it even said on that guy's blog from the BBC that he didn't see it at E3 this year so it can't be god of war 3 :(

I really don't have any clue what it could be. Last I heard they had neither confirmed nor denied the existence of an Ico/SOTC sequel so you never know, could be that.

Sony, MS and Nintendo all have top secret and incredibly popular games under wraps. Slow news day for the BBC?

And on the big screen MAG appeared - the massively multiplayer online FPS game.

As it turned out: this was one of the games I had been shown some months before but under strict instruction I was not to write about it.

But this was not the game I was referring to. It still hasn't been shown publicly.

And so I still can't talk about it.

If he was lying, or just pushing a rumour. MAG was his escape, He could simply have said that was the game he'd been shown

I don't think he's bluffing in anyway, I think he has something. And I'm quite intrigued as to what it is.

Surely it won't be Heavy Rain or God of War 3, as those have been announced, and, as with MAG, he can admit what it is if its been named? The new Team ICO game might be a good possibility though.

Terrible story though, admittedly just a blog post, but you'd still expect better from a BBC staffer.

Well according to this it sounds like Leipzig will be fun
The second bits of information came from Sony. At the PAL specific press briefing David Reeves said that they had about 12 announcements to make at Leipzig, far more than what made its way out at E3.

Some print media were given a private preview screening of Heavy Rain at E3. The developers (Quantic Dream) were also present at the Sony briefing and while they weren’t able to talk about Heavy Rain at E3 outside of the private screening they did hint at more open access to information about the game at GC.

I really enjoyed E3 for the amount of games that were on show and the willingness of the developers to talk about their games. The GC’s last show in Leipzig however promises to be action packed.

Im going for Heavy Rain, the PAL video store and some home stuff, only 9 more to find!

Can't see it being a new IP, i.e. Heavy Rain as the way he mentions it being incredibly popular, so I would have said GOW3 but now that's out of the equation I'm going for Ico 2 or Sotc2 :)
