The bit prior to the news seemed oddly rubbish, with RH and JM talking somewhat uncomfortably about cars, like they'd forgotten how to do it.
The rest, though, was sweeeeeeeeet!
Is it just me, or does the driving position in the "Dictator's mercedes" look really uncomfortable?

Cheers squire, I hope so. I am now in the land of the non-refundable deposit. Barring the Atom, every other car in the top 10 or so are all triple the price and more, only have two seats and don't really have much luggage space. *But*, ignoring the price and practicality though, every other car on this list is probably far, far more desirable for one reason or another.

I'd like to think so, but there is so much hype/hate/passion about the R35 at the moment, it won't be long before the entire lap is thrown out of the window for one reason or another. There should be some interesting times coming soon...some big-nosed French midget didn't get on with it at all and the times will reflect this.
I never liked Prost much anyway.

The accepted method is not to do it at full throttle.
this is the very reason the stig should always be on tg, I remember in previous threads people saying they think he should go.
how else can you know how fast a car truly is ?
I hope this will silence the people who dissed the GTR when they posted fast ring times... it truly is a masterpiece of modern engineering and Nissan have raised the bar to new levels. I want one
(give it a few years when there are 2nd hand ones about we can all have supercar performance for next to nothing woohooooooo)
I thought it was a great episode TBH, I really enjoyed it.
As for the GTR, my God that car has won me round. I hated it when the first pics came out, then started to warm to it when more details/times came out, and now I'm at the stage where I would happily saw off my testicles with a rusty saw to own one
The body control and poise when Clarkson was throwing round was utterly awesome, and it looks like it lets you have a little sideways fun too.

I thought it was amusing the JC was enthusing about the GT-R's engine being hand-built, considering that he's said many times that hand-built means poor quality. In this very episode, he said "Hand built means the door will fall off", for example.
