Fault Xbox360's

I wouldn't buy a 360 with the rrod. I fixed one (x-clamp, 12v fan mod, fan shroud mod) but it still ended up crapping out on me after a while. I bought another for £40 which wasn't reading discs, tweaked the pot and its been fine ever since. I'd buy one with a faulty DVD drive if your looking for a cheap 360, much easier to fix than the rrod.

You can't just replace the xclamp. You need to always replace it AND reflow the solder with a heatgun/oven.

Maybe just look for a cheap reconditioned one.,

Is the Open Tray error just a fault drive?
