Had a little play with a BMW 335D on an 57-Reg tonight and my god was it quick.
Is this really what the future for diesels beholds.
Not sure what the specs are for this car, it could have been an "M" series not to sure as I dont pay much attention to BMW's course their boring. But with the letter "d" on the back this car was far from boring.
Or it could have been the SE with stupid amounts of torque as it wasnt till I was hitting 5000RPM each time I was catching him, before that there was nothing in it.
To be fair to the driver I think I knew the road better than him as I used to drive it to work and back for 6 months a couple of years ago.
But a 4.0 V8 supercharged Jag only being able to pull 2/3 of car lengths away from a 335d (40-100mph) is certainly an achievement for BMW. It would have killed my V6 X-type for sure, Insane!
