Chavs can afford plane tickets!!

Okay when you go out on a Friday/Saturday night all the drinking and trouble that’s involved you would class them all chavs? This word is used far too much to stereotype people which 9/10 they are not chavs!

actually yes.

people who go out and enjoy a drink, go clubbing, have fun, fine.

People who go out and cause trouble by randomly starting fights = complete retards which need to be all piled in to a big hole and set a light.

I was just floating about the bbc news site and couldnt bloomin believe that two daft lasses would do such a thing lol

What was it.. 32.000ft up or summin? did they really think fresh air would come in lol.

Some people are just plane dumb... lol

An airline spokeswoman said the women were thought to have been smoking in the plane's toilet, and were suspected of bringing their own alcohol on board.

She said they had started to swear at and threaten staff who refused to sell them any more alcohol from the bar.

The woman had then said they wanted to open the door to get "some fresh air" into the plane.

Brits on holiday: the world's worst nightmare.

They all do it, we have aggressive and drunk poles, spanish and just about every nation in europe. Smoking in toilets happens on just about every shift I work. I've lost count of the amount of call outs I've had to 'burning smells' in toilets.

Alcohol and flying just doesnt seem to mix with many people.

Yeah, but I reckon the Brits put more effort into it. ;)

If they didn't spend so much over there, I reckon Greece would have banned British tourists by now.

ROFL hehe

They couldn't have opened the door anyway and if they weren't drunk when boarding it is enitrely the fault of the cabin crew for getting them drunk during a 3 hour flight.

yeah tar everyone with same brush like I could with so many nationalities......

What's a chav?
That, somehow, seems to be the crux of the matter. Is there actually a definition that applies to a class of people, or does it just apply to anyone who kicks off and gets done for disorderly behaviour?

Anyway, I think they got off lightly. If they get a bill from the airline I doubt they could or would pay it. The more immediate question though is how did they get home and who paid for that? :/

I agree with those who said that you can't open most airline doors (didn't know that 737s had outward-facing hatches, but I do know most airliners don't). I'd imagine most passengers don't know this though, so I'd expect quite a few of them were hysterical after that lot kicked off.

BBC News said:
The women, aged 26 and 27, were drinking heavily and had to be held in their seats by security staff until the plane landed in Frankfurt.

Wtf? planes have security staff onboard? they're not the well groomed pussy stewards by any chance?
