Pictures of my first Water cooling build..

Hi,

I'm getting a similar build tomorrow and I'm wondering how you attach the reservoir/pump to the PSU and short it to start it. How did you do it?

Cheers,

Cheers mate, figured I need some extenders and some molex to 3 fan wires, so, getting them from a competitor where blockbuster video used to be in Chelmsford tomorrow

Looks like a good build.

I like the blue liquid aswell. My cooling system has Uv reactive pipes that are green, it also has green liquid inside. When i build my new system next month i wouldnt mind changing the pipes to clear and then putting blue in aswell. Looks really nice.

Just got my stuff and going to start tomorrow. As a bit of a newb, can anyone tell me how much coolant goes in the reservoir, do you fill it all up or what? I tend to work on my PC on the side to fit things in, so will this create any bubbles in the loop?

Cheers,

Blue

Nearly to the top - leave 1cm gap.

Fill it slowly until the res is nearly full .. put the cap on then turn on the pump (ONLY the pump) for a few seconds to start filling to tubes and rad.. then top up and repeat process until there is no air breaks in the tubes.. Make sure you leave enough room for expansion.

After the the initial 24 hour test, just undo the res cap to expel trapped air (bleed).

Good for you :)

Done Great there ;)

Loving the Bloo coolant (care to share info if it's available at OcUK ?)

Congrats on a very nice and tidy 1st H2o Project

From the corner of a bottle in one of the pictures I can say it looks like Feser One which OcUK do sell. :)

The purple is very nice in my opinion.

Hi, that looks great, love the res.

I've just filled up my system about 2 hours ago, but an using a T piece instead of a res. I was wondering how long it took for the small bubbles to vanish from the system? I really want to fire up the machine but I'm not sure if it's ok with some small bubbles in there?

The bubbles are a similar size to the bubbles in a pint of larger..

Luvin that case Huddy, did it take any modding to get that Rad in? Im looking at building a new rig soon and retiring my current monster (in sig).
I learnt so much from my first WCed system, i must have changed the layout about a dozen times before i was happy.

No modding at all.. I just had to bend the runners to get the double bay res in place.

I've added link to the full blog after the pic :)

Although it's not quite finished.
