There is a HUGE difference between being disabled and being fat.
 
To be honest I believe most establishments that serve alchohol reserve the right to refuse admission where they see fit.

This could be seen as a bunch of 8 chavs walking to the door hammered off their face looking for trouble...or I suppose it could be a fat chick or a herd of them.

I have known clubs that turn people away when they are from a certain post code near me (the bad area). They look at their Driving License and basically tell them to fo. (No ID no entry ofc).

If they were discreet in turning them away, i.e:- no signs with a fat bird and a big red circle and a line through it on the door, they could get away with it.

I don't agree with this mentality at all. Fat chicks need love too, some people like more cushin' for the pushin' anyways :P
 
being mean to fatties is a vicous circle; it usually makes them go home and eat more creamcakes. They should sue the doormen for making them fat :p

However some people of the grotesquely obese (ie. can barely walk) variety ARE registered and treated as disabled. Hmm.

Anyway, I'm not going to get into another argument about fat people (or are we due one on here again?) -- having been on both sides of the fence for years at a time during my life, I can honestly say that managing your weight isn't as easy across the board as many people here seem to think it is.

To be honest, if people are happy being fat, then let them be. They're not hurting you. The ones who are fat and don't like it will get off their asses and do the best they can to sort it out -- and go through the types of stresses, pain and humiliation that you could only dream about.

It's the people who sit around and go "I haaaate being fffaaaat waaaahhh *scoff donut*" who need a good kick up the rear.


If I was out on the town with a group of mates, fit birds etc. and saw our usual haunt with a sign like that....I'd take my money elsewhere. It's just being needlessly A-holeish.

Not so much as disable or fat, the other issue is that one has already gain entry and the other one hasn't been. In pure contract law terms, one has already had a contract, and the other one doesn't.

asked to leave for what reason?
atleast she was inside, these were not allowed in, different circumstances im sure.
 
The club should have a fatties night only so they 'fit in'.... hmmm.

There's a phrase 'fat people are happy people'. Why is that?
 
The manager probably thinks that if he bans fat chicks then it will attract more men to the club, because potentialy there are more slim women. I think it's probably going to back fire. Everyone knows that a hot girl always has a fat friend she goes out with.

Not more thin women, just less fat ones.

fair play I say. Health and safety and all that :) What if there was a fire and her fat ugly legs got stuck in the door or something
