When i drove my car to the ring my mate spun the car. No damage (ie didnt hit anything, curbs or anything)

Im being told by some geezer that chances are i would have bent the chassis

is this really likely?

can't see how

I've spun mine many times (including on the 'ring) and I can see no evidence of chassis bending. the chassis should be a lot stronger than your tyres grip :p

one time I did hit a bank, which bent my front subframe, but you sure knew about it when it happened!

it was even a very wet track! with not the best tires in the world lol

he is adamant that there's a good chance i have bent chassis lol

He's an idiot

Giving you a few quid less because you ragged it round the ring and bent it (from his pov) ? Sounds like he's a taker not a giver ;)

he's the prevous owner, wanting to buy it back fro £350 less than i paid! cos he recons i've prob bent the chassis lol

Well there you go, he's BSing you to try and get the price down. Play him at his own game; tell him you've had the car measured on a jig and the chassis is indeed bent beyond repair. See if he still want's to buy it back...

Thats what happens when you spin!

Doubt it, ive spun a few cars never seen any of them with a bent chassis.

I'm sure you would notice.
