About a month ago I got a letter saying I was getting a pay increase. Had a look at it and was a bit disappointed. Only a few hundred quid for the year.
Well, I guess with the current economic climate...

Just looked at my pay slip at the end of the month and it looked like a bigger increase than I was expecting. Went back and checked. D'oh! I'd somehow imagined that my old salary was about a grand per year more than it actually was. The pay rise worked out at around 5%. Got a generous one at Christmas too, so I reckon I'm about 9% year on year.

What a plonker...

i just found out i am getting another bonus in septemeber as we made a profit :)

But with the gas price still rising its looks impossible for next year

I woke up this morning at 7:01 due to my alarm... Hit the sleep button and 9mins later the alarm went off again at 7:10, i got out of bed.

well theres no easy way of saying this and it may come as a bit of a shock but...............

no :)

Thought as much, I could swear that he was in the lounge watching the racing :p

How was the dentist?

How was the dentist?

as far as i could tell he was fine , though im no doctor :p

seriously though it cost me a fortune today, i have a swollen face and sore tooth so £16 for an emergency apointment to be told i need antibiotics ( £7.10) before any treatment . my crowned tooth is infected inside and is basically dying so after the swelling has gone i need to go back for extraction (another £44)
also cost me £8 for some decent pain relief :(

Oh dear. Be alpha, pull it out yourself, with your bare hands.

My Dad needs a filling, he hates the dentist so wasn't best pleased at having to spend mroe time there :p
