That'll learn him not to play his 'personal' music so loud!

The guy already sounds like an absoloute headcase. I doubt locking him up for life would affect him in anyway, I'm sure he would have no problem living with what he's done from the sounds of it.

He'll prob be killed anyway.

Bloody hell I was lucky tonight.
After the first spot a bloke around the age of 60 came up to me and said -

You do know its illegal?
Whats illegal?
The volume you're playing at
And?
I'm just saying, if an inspector came he would close you down
And?
Well don't you think about peoples hearing and what you're doing to them?
No
Have you not thought about the possibility of playing your music lower?
No, the clue is in the name of our group, if you don't like it then walk out of that door over there. Oh I've got to go to the bog.

Oh yeah and Singists title is a well known saying on these forums 'That'll learn him/them' along with 'sauce'.

Hmm, this was on the radio here this morning. after hearing it i had a nice chat with a gray-line (not gray hound) bus driver who told me that the guy just infront of them couldn't here anything, and apparently when the knife-bloke got off the bus (carrying the head!) he just dropped it and started wondering why everyone was off the bus!

clearly someone incredibly deranged! i'll bet he was a Yank or something.

because theres no pictures no video we didn't see it we haven't seen a victim he haven't seen a killer, it's not real, hell do any of you even "know" it happened other than by taking that guys word for it?
There is no physical or emotional connection formed it's just words on a page impossible to feel anything over.

While it could be made up I'm not sure that the BBC is all that into hoax reporting (the Panorama special on spaghetti aside) and especially not on something like this. You might be right about emotional detachment for you but that doesn't mean that no one else can or will empathise with people they've never met or will ever meet. As for "it's just words on a page impossible to feel anything over" - have you never read a book that makes you feel anything? If so you are definitely missing out.

He'll prob be killed anyway.

Not in Canadia he won't, they haven't had the death penalty since 1976 so unless someone kills him in prison or a mental hospital that's about it.

I spoke to a work colleague about this and they say:

"Well, everyone has a breaking point, I think I would also do that"

She also states that:

"Everyone is capable of such things.."

I do believe the attacker should be locked up and get help. Also, he should never be let out into society, again. I also disagree with my work colleague.

That is absolutely horrific.

I can't believe it took 10 posts for someone to even mention the absolute horror of this, the guy actually cut someones ****** head off with a hunting knife and gutted him after he stabbed him 60 times.

I mean wtf is this about

Tbh get a car and you won't have that problem.
Public transport sucks for the reason in it's name, it's public, any idiot can come and use it and annoy you.

Won't have what problem, someone cutting your head off?!!

Ok, for all those who took a pedantic stance about the English used in the title or my implying that it was the music that triggered the killer or anything else rather than just accepting the post:

You will find much worse (sick) attempts at humour on these forums together with abysmal spelling/malapropisms and puerile ****; I used the term "learn him" because 1) I am an old ****** who hears it a lot in Yorkshire and 2) thought that it was just humourous enough without being too bad.

I also included the comments about 'personal' music players and their thoughtless users because many of us who do not have earphones constantly stuck in our ears do get a little tired of being forced to listen to certain frequencies and beats during our commuting ( inane telephone convo's too, as it happens but meh! ). I also read the later part of the article (unlike some, who say that there was no mention of music) and thought that although there was no direct reference to loud or annoying music, it is possible that that was the cause of the incident.

Please accept my sincere apologies for any affront caused to you sensitive spirits.

Decapitation seems a little extreme for something as trivial as playing loud music, which i may add is not mentioned in the news article.

Once coming back from a newcastle home game some chav got his phone threw out of the window of the metro by some big baldy geordie. :D

Only a little extreme? I appreciate the understatement there. The article does say that the victim was listening to music, not specifically that it is loud though.
