A little while back I posted a thread about my work not paying me full agreed wages and bullying staff. Me and another girl stood up to our boss and pointed out it was a legel obbligation for them to pay us commision as the company had put it into writing.

Finally we got commision payed to us... 6 weeks later we both got the sack! (4 of us got sacked on the same day).
I took a video of it and posted it on facebook... now I hear the company want to sue me for libel
Ive been told that theres not a lot I can do because Ive only worked there for 10 months - to get legal rights you have to work there for a year. Thats why the boss says " you been working here less than a year..." and can get away with it.

The other meetings she talks about on the video are about commision and pay etc - nothing to do with the sacking offence!
Im totally fed up with this company - Ive never worked harder for anyone in my life than I did for them... really bent over backwards... but nothing was good enough! I was given 20 mins training and when I asked for help I was told "Im not going spoon feed you" and continued to say that I was not “pulling my weight around the department”, even accusing me of refusing to answer telephones, which is a lie! He even told me off for fixing the phone line connection to the debit card till so I could take a payment from a costumer... someone earlier had tripped over the cable over pulling it out and had not reconnected it. This was said less than 36 hours into working for the department!
I often complete all the admin work they set me for the day quite early on (funny I also been accused of not being up to speed with the work I do) so I asked If there was any other duties I could help out with. Their response was I should butt out of their affairs and button down with the work I have been given as I was not particularly good at it... asking why had they had not said anything before about my “terrible work”, the boss said “If I had to say something I would have to say it every 5 minutes every day you are that bad!”
I was often left on my own at lunch time as everyone was having their lunch as the department is understaffed. I had a large queues of customers. The phones were ringing constantly as I was unable to answer them as I was taking payments etc. Got told off for not answering the phones and when I say it’s impossible to serve costumers, take payments and find stock when there’s a queue of over 20 costumers, the boss tells me “You are just very inexperienced in your work, in time you will learn how serve costumers and answer phones at the same time... you just need to work harder and think positively!”
Im glade Im out of there! You ask why I stayed so long - there is no work about these days

BTW her complaint about my demenour towards costumers was not encorreging etc - My job set out from her is NOT on the shop floor - its admin! I only got called in because 1) short staffed and 2) costumers asked for me because they liked my service in the past lol.
This department in the last year has gone thru 4 sets of staff (12 people) I was the longest serving fulltime member at 10 months... to give the reader the right propective on the issue!
