i34 this weekend :D

Get the early to see Gemma! I want pics.

The new venue looks pretty good, think when I went it was at Newmarket race course, i6 or 7 maybe.

I will be there, along with the rest of my CantFitMyN clan :) About 20 of us in total, no doubt you'll see us around in our t-shirts.

Dammit, Me and a few mates should be going but just havent had the time to arrange it.

Been to i28, i30 and i33 :)

Have a great time guys.

im going with v|per and im quite looking forward to it too, itll be my first time at this sort of thing so itll be something different for me!

I love Lan, i'm just spec'ing this one. I played in i33 @ Css and did pretty well. Should be a wicked laugh once again :D

Should be an interesting change from the racecourse which i know inside out, my concerns currently are noise and heat. We shall see.

As are mine, been contemplating using my noise canceling earphones instead of my headset. And also bringing a fan, 4 power sockets - Monitor, PC, Mobile charger - Fan = win i think

Yeh, it's in one big hall so I'm pretty sure that there is going to be some noise! My prediction is that that will be the largest minus point of the whole show, it's in one big warehouse so there will be a lot of echo'ing.

Dont bring a desk fan, you wont be allowed to have it running, use a USB fan if you're going to get anything. The heat wont be an issue for PC's but instead people will find the heat building. Was talking to wizzo at the last stratlan and he's confident that their industrial aircon will do the job but im not so sure ;)

They won't allow desk fans? I thought it was a case of using your 4 power thingies as you liked within reason, whats wrong with a desk fan :( It would benefit at least 4 people around me too! Thanks for the heads up anyway ;)

Electric motor style appliances aswell as fridges/kettles etc draw a massive load on the power and will short out your entire row. The rules are only there to prevent lynchings, then again you're probably in the cs section so i dont care either way ;)

Am i that transparent! Anyway, fair enough, no clue about that kind of thing.

What are you going for? I have most games, so won't be playing CSS exclusively.

I only knew due to the cs thread going on atm :P For me its just a social these days, i'll occasionally enter a competition or two, won the tf2 recently and top3 again after but not played anything properly in a while. Just a group of 10-20 of us go to most i series, i think this is number 20 for me :)

Awesome, only been to Starbytes and Gamerbase before. In the other thread you say you used to play at a high level, was this CS or CSS, if CSS, what team did you play for, I also used to be a lot higher than i am now in CSS.

Nah was long ago in the 1.3-early 1.6 era, been at the top of the TF2 world within the last 9 months but unfortunately that game just isnt going anywhere fast.

Only ever been to one i-series and that was i12. Back in the day when I used to play CS day in day out. Reached the final of the tourney and got beat, great fun.

As geeky as It sounds I actually miss spending hours and hours playing CS. Met some great people from the game. Now days I play my xbox for a couple of hours a week and get an ear full off the GF!
